I am 4 weeks post-op today,Tah/Bso.I have been real lightheaded so havent started driving yet(and Im not released to do so yet!)And also have had extreme fatigue.Has anyone else had these problems?I stopped all meds except my hormones today to see if that will help the lightheaded feeling, dont know how long that will last though..lol...I feel as if I should be doing more at this stage but dont want to overdo it either.Ina

I think that most will agree with me that his is normal recovery after this surgery. My fatigue lasted for quite sometime...and I was lightheaded on and off the first 2 months. hope this helps you. I hope you are feeling well otherwise. Jana

The lightheadedness could very well be from the pain medication - please speak to your doctor about this. I did not feel safe to drive until about 4 weeks either - The fatigue is normal - but it does get better

I have switched from vicodin to just motrin 800 now,so far I have been dizzy still but not as bad.My incision is healing great and I get spurts of energy but get extremely tired real fast.I also take paxil and have Rhuemitoid Arthritus and have started taking my meds for it.But all in all I know it can only get better!I still am not driving and not doing alot, some laundry, dishes, cooking when I feel like it(if I dont I have LOTS of help!)When is it ok to run the vacuum? And I wonder if my hormones may have something to do with me being dizzy???Thanks for asking about me,and I am glad I found this site as it is very helpful! No vaccuming for at least 6 weeks!!! It took me 10 before I could vacuum comfortably. Still a tad early for laundry also! Listen to your body...it will steer you right. The dizziness may be a result of so many things..maybe a result of just the surgery itself...hang in there and if it hasn't subsided by your 6 week post-op check with the doctor about it! hugs Jana
