Well Its been 9 weeks and I'm doing great, all except for the bladder thing. I go to the urologist on the 17th. It was scheduled for the 10th but I have to work that day and couldn't get out of it. Things are going well though. I still have some pulling feeling in the belly. I think that it just may be from the scar tissue stretching or something. Hopefully all this will go back to normal real soon. Do you think that maybe things are just still a little swelling in there?

Carol, So glad you are doing well. Thanks for checking in and letting us know. The pulling is normal. My surgeon told me to keep in mind that it will take up to a full year for things to heal 100% - I would suspect that the pulling is from swelling - my swelly belly took about 4 months to disappear completely. It could also be as you suspect from the scar tissue - often times it is just the healing process - while your incision is completely closed up - you have over 100 stitches internally and they could also be causing some pulling. If it persists beyond the 4 month or if it becomes bothersome - speak to your doctor about it. Keep us posted on what happens on the 17th. And remember to take it easy - at 9 weeks you are still healing.
