Well I went to the Urologist and he says that he is thinking that it’s just from the hysterectomy and that I’m still healing. He said that when a hysterectomy is done that the uterus is attached to the bladder so to speak, and basically the uterus is pealed off of the bladder which in turn causes swelling and bladder symptoms. He is going to do a ultrasound of my bladder and kidneys just to be sure everything is good. He said we could also do a scope thing were he looks in side of the bladder but it is very uncomfortable. No No No No, I said lets hold off on that one and see what happens over the next few weeks. I don’t want to go through anything more then I need to. So all and all things are good so far. Hopefully they continue that way. Carol

Am so glad to hear that you went ot see your doctor. I suspected it was from swelling - but if it continues please make sure that you get checked out. There are always risks involved with surgery - and with the hyst the risk is often with the bladder... usually a minimal risk, but a risk just the same. Glad to hear you are healing.
