This may be granulated tissue. You should check in with your doctor for a quick exam and if that is what it is they will take care of it with silver nitrate. If it is something else they should be able to find the problem and fix it!!!

Hi, I'm 18 weeks post op, after a TAH on May 12. I had some bleeding afterwards from day 12-25, but then nothing since. It worried me at the time but my GP assured me it was probably just my internal stitches dissolving.
However, as mine stopped and your's hasn't, I would have a chat with your doctor. This is probably nothing to worry about and can be easily fixed, but he/she MUST be the one to decide.
good luck Blade

yes I have heard- was hurting as well so I went to the doctor. Is granulation, whatever that is. She "removed" (pulled off) the old tissue sorry so graphic. The used silver nitrate. I have to go back weekly. Fun huh. She said it wasnt that uncommon but I know feel pretty miserable, crampy. I am really ok just frustrating. Back to the NO rules. NO sex, NO lifting, keep feet evevated blah blah blah

Thanks for posting, Julie. I had wondered and kept meaning to ask you. I must have had a lenient doctor. I was only no sex for a week after they took the tissue off! lol. Doctors really are so different. Take it easy, follow the rules and you will be on your way soon I bet!!!! Jana
