I use sugar free jello for this but my sister makes it with the regular jello - it just depends on your preference ;D IT IS GOOD!
Step 1: 1 pkg. red jello - prepare as usual in large bowl
Step 2: 1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese 1 pkg. lemon jello Cream these two together with electric mixer (in separate bowl), then slowly mix in 1 cup of boiling water - chill until partially set, then fold in 1 to 1.5 cups of cool whip (or dream whip or whipped cream - whatever strikes your fancy) - pour onto set red jello.
Step 3: 1 pkg. lime jello 1 can crushed pineapple (big or small - your choice) Prepare green jello as usual (in a separate bowl), let partially set, stir in pineapple, then pour onto the yellow layer.
P.S. If each layer is added before the last one becomes too firm, the salad will stick together better.
